Upfront is a young record label from Barcelona. Created, directed and produced by Aitor Ronda.
Upfront is an eclectic, underground and cutting edge dance label with a focus on releasing a mix of new spanish talent and the nations established acts. The objective is to show to the rest of the world the particular vision we have in spain of the electronic music. In the 2007 we d like to invite too, artists that from all the world but that they has been living in spain for a few years. Cause we think this artists also share the Spanish point of view.
From now own the Upfront music policy would be ; all cain of techno for the dance floor but more electronic, less organic as Aitor Ronda have now DRakos REcs where he will produce all his own hardgroove stile music. But eclectic enough, as we like in Upfront all cain of techno stiles; soft, hard , deep, etc…
Upfront now comes on digital and distributed by Epm Digital Distributions. Upfront will be online in the best virtual shops of the net as BeatPort or Track it Down , to make possible his sales all around the world.
Upfront we ll be back on vinyl ( Upf-005 ) very soon with the best digital tracks sellers.

Upfront es un sello discográfico de Barcelona , creado y dirigido por Aitor Ronda des del 2001. Con el propósito de realzar tanto a la música techno de este país como a los nuevos productores nacionales , por todo el mundo, huyendo del pensamiento sectario y de los círculos cerrados, en una línea muy ecléctica dentro de la música electrónica dirigida para las pistas de baile.
En Upfront creemos que actualmente en nuestro país hay muy buen nivel de productores y no hay nada que envidiar a países con más años en el circuito como Inglaterra o Alemania, por eso, esperamos ser un revulsivo en la escena nacional y animar a todos los productores de techno de este país a compartir esta visión.
A partir de este año también tendremos artistas internacionales pero afincados en España desde hace unos años. Porque creemos comparten misma visión con nosotros al vivir en el mismo país y compartir todo con nosotros dia a dia.
La política musical seguiría igual, techno en toda su amplitud ( soft, hard, deep, etc…), quizá mas electrónico que nunca ya que Aitor Ronda desvía todo lo mas orgánico y funk a su nuevo sello Drakos Recordings, 100x100 hardgroove.
Upfront a partir de ahora se presentara en formato digital y distribuido por Epm Digital Distributions, para que sea posible su compra en cualquier punto del mundo a través de las webs mas importantes del momento como BeatPort o Track it Down. Upfront en formato vinilo volverá pronto con Upf-005, editando 4 de los best sellers en digital hasta el momento.
