neskainside.net is a project inspired by the energetic New England ska scene. The main goal of NESKA (pronounced: nes-kah) is to bring together ska fans in a lively, but accessible community, where they can discover new bands, meet new friends, and keep in touch with the scene.
The neskainside.net website has a wiki (ska encyclopedia) with band profiles, venue profiles, album information, and more. Any registered wiki member can edit it! Bands are able to share full or preview length songs and videos. There is also a regular "featured band" who will get front page recognition and exclusive content (interviews, etc.)
We have a collection of free music (full length cds, single songs, etc.) in our media section. All of this music has been submitted by the bands themselves. We are willing to host any music that your band would like to let fans download.neskainside.net provides message forums for bands and fans to discuss upcoming or past shows, their favorite bands, and more. It also has a consolidated and up to date calender of New England ska shows.
Our aim is to be your first stop on the web for learning about and becoming active in the New England ska community.
