About Me
My name is Jayson. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I attended high school in California & Hawaii. I ended up graduating high school in Hawaii and received my Associates in Arizona after completing technical school. I have had over 20 jobs in my life thus far, ranging from Bank Teller to Tow Truck Driver to Tour Bus Driver, to working at a gas station, working for the Eddie Bauer retail store in the mall, even working as a strip club D.J., to working for a radio station(s). The latter of that statement being my PRIDE & JOY. RADIO. YEAH!! If you have to work, might as well do something you enjoy. Growing up in Los Angeles, California and residing in Phoenix, Arizona for a stint, some people nicknamed me by Cool J, JJ, Jay, Jayson Kidd, Ese, Jose, Chino, Holmes, Homie, Fool or Dogg. Recently living in Honolulu, Hawaii for well over a decade, others called me JayAce, JACE, Barry or Own Da. Somehow I was fortunate enough to work at a radio station in Hawaii, and received the moniker JaySearch or just Search for short. It kind of stuck, so I guess I'll use that for now. It does not matter which one you use, they are ALL fun/funny to me. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, just ASK? I'll tell you! And besides....life is not about fooling a polygraph test. Be humble! The truth will come out easier that way. As for me, now it's all about focusing on the 5 aspects of life which include but are not limited to family, friends, health, spirit and work. Not necessarily in that particular order, as long as you can maintain them. Time to say Thank You, Mahalo and give some shout outs.(Shout Outs): Bryson Murakami from Hawaii, for kicking down the above piece of interesting wisdom on living. To Charles Pierson and the City of Los Angeles, for giving me a chance for employment to be a more productive member of society and to reset my life after the Hawaii accident. To everyone in the Clear Channel Hawaii family of Radio & Power 106 FM in Los Angeles, CA for the fun events, cool prizes, endless supply of great humorous entertainment, the camaraderie given & shown to me on a daily basis and the experience(s) to put my thoughts and ideas into a fun & creative outlet for others to take part in as well. THAT IS MY JOY! To my family (Mom & Dad) thanks for putting up with my stubbornness all these years. To ALL friends in life, the friends on MySpace and the ones that aren't on at all, for being by my side throughout the years. (Milton Rodriguez, Leolanie Digno, Liberty Lopez, Rodrigo Gallarde, Yo Han Chun and so on and so forth...) And last but certainly not least, Thank You to the Lord for the many times you spared me & allowed me to live despite the fact that I should be dead. Thank You also for the good health, the strong spirit, the clear conscience and the full recovery. Help us have a Good New 2008 Year. Mahalo!
