Through his poppy yet simplistic acoustic sound, Mike Goodrick’s goal is for people, no matter the circumstance or reason, to walk away from his music with a smile on their face. With his heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and upbeat, open, acoustic sound he attempts to combine many genres. He wants to keep it simple, nothing fancy, but in that simple mindset he hopes to show reality, in its purest form. He performs alone, as of now, but his new album available now on Makeshift Records, has plenty of driving guitars, and up beat drums, along with smooth bass lines, and simplistic harmonies.
