A little bit about me, eh?Well, let’s see…
Last time I wrote this, I pretty much had a full-on essay up here about myself, so this time I’ll try to keep it a little bit shorter, but you know me...it’s hard for me to write anything short. :-p
I’m nineteen. I’m a girl, obviously. I go to Wilson Tech. I’m a transfer student there, and I’m hoping to transfer to either William and Mary or UNC Chapel Hill for neurology and/or dramatic arts, but I’m going to apply everywhere when I graduate.
School has always been the most important thing to me. I suppose that’s why I put such emphasis on my work and things that I do pertaining to school. I’m a perfectionist to the max. I always have been. I strive to do as well as I possibly can.
Yeah…I’m a full-fledged geek. :-p
I have an unhealthy obsession with Harvard University. It’s my dream school. I attended Harvard over the past summer for summer school, and I fell even more in love than I had been before (I took an internet course from them the previous semester). I don’t believe they’ll accept me for my bachelors degree…I mean – it is Harvard, for Christ’s sakes! But I will go there one day. One way or another. Maybe my doctorate or my masters? I will go back to Cambridge.
From going to Cambridge, I really realized that I love the South, but I believe I’ll move up North sooner or later. I just identified more with everyone and everything up there – more so than I ever have here in the South.
But education isn’t the only thing that defines me. Music is another important element of my life. I couldn’t live without it. I was raised on classic rock, so naturally, I still have a love for it. The Beatles are probably the greatest band that ever played on earth. :-p But I also love a lot of metal and hardcore plus some newer rock.
I love going to shows. It’s one of the greatest pleasures I get in life. There’s nothing like going to a show and leaving with bruises from where someone stage-dived on you or kicked you while they were hardcore dancing.
Friends are extremely important to me, and I have the best in the world. We’re not too emotional (most of my friends are guys), but we're always there for each other whether we tell each other that or not.
Speaking of awesome people, I am completely and totally in love with my boyfriend, Mario Espinoza, whom I’ve been dating for two years now. Throughout our past two years, Mario’s made me an extremely happy person. He’s made me smile at times I didn’t think I could. He’s made me laugh when all I wanted to do was frown, and he’s shown me that real love can make anything in the world brighter. :-)
As for my beliefs and such, I’m Catholic, but I’m not religious. I really don’t know how I feel about religious stuff anymore. I’d like to believe there’s a God, though.
I’m very vocal on all my beliefs in this matter, so if you ever strike up a conversation about religion around me, expect me to go on and on and bore you to death. :-p
I’m a very liberal person, if you didn’t know. My political views reflect my liberalness (if that’s a word). Hehehe
I believe that’s all the main stuff about me…Let me just give you a few side notes (as if this “About Me†section wasn’t long enough already, right?) :-p
Random:
*I’m pretty feminist sometimes. I’ve realized this recently after writing a bunch of feminist papers.
*I love playing video games. One of my favorites is GTA 3, but I love Guitar Hero, wii games, and all of the old classic N64 and Super Nintendo games. Can’t go wrong with old school. Hehe
*I’m a pansy for Christmas and kitties. Hehe
*I love pizza rolls, fettucini, and popcorn.
*I hate overly religious people who shove their beliefs down others’ throats.
*I hate girls who are overly obsessive with their boyfriends – i.e. those who make their boyfriends their entire lives (same with guys)
*Loud eating gets on my nerves.
*I have a lot of head aches.
*I don't care much for a lot of excessive drinking. It's just not my thing. Never has been and never will be.
*I like being sirry once in a while. :-)
*I’m very lame. :-p
*I’m a huge dork.
*I'm shy, but I love speaking in front of people. Ironic, eh?
