About Me
Bay Area Word of Faith Ministries and Associated Students of Laney College mission is to bridge a gap between the church and community. To support the families of the community through training, inspiration and fellowship. The support includes and is not limited to Spiritual Development through Education, and Employment Training. These services are designed to empower those in the community who are economically challenged, via homelessness and unemployment.The Academic Standards are the essential component for life skills that the family must acquire to successfully graduate from college, continued education or transition into employment. The Conference includes providing a comprehensive program and follow-up services for the community. This will culminate in successful student transition to, lifelong learning and a quality adult life.
