About Me

- So just what is 'Mad Hat'? Well, best thing to do is stop by and escape for a spell. It is a calming spot punctuated by conversation among both friends and strangers, books, great smells, eclectic music selections and many, many, many choices of flavour to sample. Set aside enough time to at least try out a few blends, compare Oolongs, Rooibos anyone? Yerba Mate from Paraguay and Kava from Fiji. Can't sleep? We have a blend. Throat hurt? Pregnant? Bored? We can help. Escape from the Urbanscape. Sink into a leather couch. Play chess or mancala or???? Herbal blends to heal you. Great Teas to both stimulate and calm you as only Tea can. Stop by and let Tea heal you. Monday - Saturday 10AM until 5PM, sometimes later; never earlier. Entrances at both 1130 Commerce and 1127 Broadway. Call 253.441.2111. -
