The Diffuse Members in civil life are George Sipos alias Sipa and David Szabo alias Dave Scorp from Szeged , Hungary.
Both guys have been hooked on electronic music since quite a young age.
In order to entertain himself, and friends, Sipa started dj-ing at the age of 17. His passion for music and entertainment stayed with him, and within the next 2 years, he found himself playing in clubs and open-air parties, even in sport events such as a skateboarder and skater festival. He became a resident at club “Street” in 2003. One year later, “Ice Fm” radio broadcasted his one hour live mix in it’s Saturday night club session, and “radio E “asked him twice to be a guest performer in a line-up introducing Szeged’s finest young dj-talents. In 2005, recognizing his broadcasting skills, “Radio E” offered him a job as a presenter and resident dj of Saturday night’s “Electro-shock”. He accepted, and in addition, he became musical editor of Radio E-s overground session. In the past few years, he became more and more interested in creating music, finding it a new and improved way of self-expression...
As a little technical genius, Dave already knew many things about studio works, and complete technical background of music making at the age of 17. He has got inspired on a dance festival, where he has decided: he wants to be a part of all this, but from a completely different angle. Being an enthusiastic young talent, he has been experimenting with music writing for 3 years now. Although he truly enjoyed – and still enjoys - the process of creation itself, he needed more. He needed to feel that direct response that comes from the crowd, showing him if he could get his message through. In 2006, he met Sipa, which gave him an excellent opportunity to test his own dj-ing skills. After tough practising, in 2007, he could get a taste of the positive energy coming from the partying crowd, and together with Sipa they could make them jump carelessly.
As good mates having much respect towards each other, Dave and Sipa thought more and more about the heights and depths in music they could reach together, as team. Finally joining forces in 2007, they have realized that the synergy of 2 different styles can make a powerful combination, giving endless possibilities of musical development. And so it was made: as an effect of Dave's revolting –, and ever experimenting wildness and Sipa's fresh and sensitive creativity, the typical “diffuse members sounding” was born. The result is worth listening!
