The styles on this page derive from a variety of Arabian cultures, some classic traditional styles, others influenced by neighboring cultures and trends, and many designed or inspired by my relatives and I. Raised in the US, my family heritage lies in the Gulf of Aden residing at the southern tip of Yemen, the country anciently known as the Land Of Queen Sheba. Its location on the peninsula has made it a major trade route and port for neighboring countries within the region. As early as the 1800s, it was occupied by Britain as an Indian British colony, inviting much British and Indian influence to the already culturally rich Arabian heritage of the Land. Centuries later, the influences of the occupation would remain in the city's arts, music, and tradition. Thereafter, the migration of stylists to the other parts of Arabia and the U.S. opened up more doors to a distinct creative world of Arabian fashion. Maintaining the rich Adeni culture of distinct practices and enticing styles while integrating diverse modes of new environments has opened up an even greater world in fashion. Inspired by Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Dubai, India, and the West, Arabian Haute Couture presents fashion in a new way...
