Meet my Family:
The Sister , The Brother , The Lover , The Twin , The Cousin , The Artist , The Fighter , The Model , The Princess , The Linguist , The Half-Sister . They're all my family and it's staying that way. We're like royalty, and everybody wants in.
I'd like to meet someone I actually like who listens to what I have to say, doesn't judge me, and actually likes me back. I'd like it if he'd hear what I have to say, rather than let everyone else influence his decisions. I'd like to be able to tell him things I can't tell anyone else and trust him to keep it secret. I'd like to be able to trust him unconditionally.
1/28/08 - Today I was talking to some people about how others just throw words around like they're nothing. Mainly, "I love you". That phrase seems so pointless to use nowadays, since it's just a way to make someone do that which you want them to do. It's not used affectionately much anymore; nor is it used properly. One cannot say "I love you" after every argument. One cannot tell another that they love them, just to shut them up. Don't follow an apology with "I love you" because it's a lie. Your love is a confusion of remorse and your own self-pity. Saying "I love you" will never fix things. Three little words cannot make nor break a person. After all, they're just words. It disgusts me to think about how I have been so blind to so many things. "I Love You" is nothing more than a façade, I believe.
12/15/07 - Sometimes it's so much easier to meet new people than to catch up with old ones. It's easier to make new friends than admit you were wrong about your old ones. It's simpler and less complicated with these "single-serving friends". You're never going to see these people again, so you can actually be yourself. They're talking to you, you're talking to them. You have a good time. You're done, you leave, no more strangers. Who needs to keep in touch with single-serving friends, anyways? Just pretend to care about the old ones. Just focus on yourself. Isn't that what mankind does anyways? Doesn't the world revolve around mankind? I know it does.
12/14/07 - The hardest thing in the world to do is to pretend it never mattered. It's nearly impossible to lie and say that everything that's happened throughout the years was irrelevant. Nothing's better than a happy memory. Nothing's harder to forget than a happy memory. All I can tell you is to make as many happy memories as you can, because eventually you'll push aside the unhappy ones to make room for more good. What you did in your childhood makes you who you are now. As does what you did a year ago and what you did yesterday. Today is built on yesterday and tomorrow is built on today. Make today the best you can, because when today's gone, all you'll have is a happy memory or an unhappy one. Make a choice.
