Christian Malmin, the only son of a music professor, has been performing since the age of seven and a member of Actor’s Equity Association since 1990. Hailing from the Midwest, he was a contract actor with the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis before moving to Los Angeles in the mid-90’s.///His TV CREDITS include the recurring role of Jay Gordon on “Days of Our Livesâ€, “The Tonight Show with Jay Lenoâ€, “The Young and the Restlessâ€, “America’s Most Wantedâ€, "Unsolved Mysteries" and “Beat the Geeksâ€. He was the co-host and entertainment reporter of “Cinematic Report†airing on TV Tokyo and his voices can be heard on the “Medal of Honor†and “Call of Duty†interactive games.///His FILM CREDITS include "Pizza with Bullets" with Talia Shire and Vincent Pastore, Harry Shearer’s “Teddy Bears’ Picnicâ€, David Zucker’s “Baseketballâ€, the indie-drama “Prozac Babies†and the leading role in the Western, “The Antagonistâ€.///REGIONAL THEATRE CREDITS include Romeo, Clifford in "Deathtrap", John in “A Life in the Theatreâ€, Stanley in "Brighton Beach Memoirsâ€, Scooter in “Scooter Thomas Makes it to the Top of the World†and “Cyrano DeBergeracâ€. He’s also toured extensively with a variety of Children’s Theatre Companies, including the award-winning “Fun & Discovery Entertainment, Inc.â€.///Christian studied comedy and improv with legendary instructor Cynthia Szigeti at The ACME Comedy Theatre and has written and performed sketch comedy with ACME’s Bravo Company.///Mr. Malmin is also an accomplished drummer/ percussionist. He performs regularly with award-winning songwriter, Mike Renneker and at the ACME Comedy Theatre with keyboardist/ composer, Jonathan Green. He also has musically accompanied renowned comedians Alex Borstein, Wayne Brady, Adam Carolla, Seth MacFarlane and Todd Glass. He played drums on the original music for ABC Family Channel’s “Pop Rocks†and a song written for the “Cool McCool†DVD release- “School Of McCoolâ€- with Wally Wingert and guitarist Bruce Kulick (KISS/ Grand Funk Railroad).
