Chadzilla is currently a pivotal member of SLIM CESSNA'S AUTO CLUB, Double Parked, Polytoxic, Chadzilla and the Asteroids. He also leads his own band the Chadzilla3. He is also the co founder of world music group Istari, with fellow master percussionist Ed Contreras. He has been teaching music privately in the Denver area since 1992. He is a member of the teaching staff at Swallow Hill Music Association where in 2007 he started the “House of Rock†ensemble classes bringing musicians of all ages together with an emphasis on performance. Having Monster Island, a full rehearsal/recording studio is also a great teaching aid that assists students in intricate development and improvisational band situations.
Monster Island is a complete DAW based studio sporting Sonar as the main recording platform, the studio has numerous microphones by Shure, AKG, Audio Technica and Samson. He’s also building an arsenal of mic preamps from True Systems, Presonus, Zoom and Samson. And of course, the drums sound amazing!
