I'm a returning student. My major is Psychology/Woman's Studies minor with the intention to achieve my PhD, however many years it may take :) I've worked in the IT, software, retail chocolate and real estate industries. I love to sing and I am not shy when it comes to public speaking. I've been involved with charitable organizations since I was 14, including multiple masonic orders, both youth and adult. I was Worthy Matron at 23 in 2004, PWA honored with the Grand Cross of Color in Rainbow Girls, and a majority member of Job's Daughter's. I took a break from the masonic orders this year so I could see what other professional and volunteer endeavors I could experience.
I have just known that my life's goal is to impact others in a positive manner and I tried to achieve that in all my endeavors.
I've always seen myself becoming an author and public speaker matters which I am passionate about. I have ideas in research I want to accomplish and I intend to bring change. I plan to be well known someday, and I hope my legacy will be more Madeliene Albright, less Monica Lewinsky.
I also want a successful marriage and partnership in my future. I am not in a rush, it's the quality, not quantity and I have a lot of homework anyway. :)
I am also handy to have around during holidays because I am the only one who can tell you what each chocolate is in a See's Candy box. This prevents those nasty people who push their fingernail in the bottom or a take a bite and put it back. That is truly a pet peeve of mine. Just ask me and I will tell you which one is the brown sugar buttercream covered with a delicious thin coating of milk chocolate!
