Mortivore is a forming blackend death metal band from Atlanta Georgia. The name is a word that Karl created from the prefix "morte" meaning death, and the suffix "vore" meaning eater, making the name loosely translate to mean "death eater". Jake and Karl were in the established Atlanta Death / Black Metal band Locust Grove, Locust Grove lost a guitarist and in the process of auditioning to fill the spot we met Rayburn. He jammed once with Locust Grove and then he and Jake had a jam session alone that proved to be quite exciting. At this point Jake and Karl decided to keep jamming with Rayburn. It seems that Locust Grove was doomed though and soon Jordan and Joseph left also, then it was time to focus all of our energy on Mortivore. As of now we are writing songs and trying to round out our line-up with another guitarist and bassist. Hopefully we will have music posted and shows lined up by January or Febuary.
