Nortes

Nortes is formed in 2006 and consists of guitarists mainly. Our music is instrumental guitar and its stylistic direction can be related to Easy Listening and Instrumental. The name Nortes in Latin is translated as the northern wind. It is blowing from North-East to South- West of Spain meeting there the hot southern winds that creates the warm and soft continental climate that is similar to us. Though we play on the Spanish guitars and are more orientated on the Spanish ethnic music, we are people from the north, we are more reserved and not as hot as Spanish people, but still... our eyes are directing to the Spain side, because the sun is shining there for everyone! In May 2006 the group has composed the first album named Lost Illusions.
