About Me

lI'd much rather be volunteering than working. Like everyone else in this world i work too much, and by too much i mean more than 15 hours a week. past jobs include a wild bear, a bicycle flying through the air, a politician, a program aide at a shelter for people with mental illness, a case manager and interpreter at a community health clinic, a club manager in guatemala, a medical student and a donkey wearing blue pants, one leg filled with oats and the other with honey. I am afraid of knee high socks, jack in the boxes, digital watches, bubble baths, canned corn, and the irish.Music makes my world go round - i have great friends who are constantly giving me music, so I'm usually listening to whatever someone has just given me - i once listened to only hip-hop for forty days and forty nights, lately i've been into okervill river and amadou and miriam. Oh, I'm nice too.

i'm pretty much here just to connect with people i know, but am always willing to welcome more funny, nice, beautiful, amazing friends into my life, especially folks that believe that housing, healthcare, and good education is a right, as are equal opportunities to explore creativity - so if that's you drop me a line. I'm also looking for a decent band in need of a mediocre bassist, and a guy named T-rex who wears sweatpants and those rainbow colored oakley's from the early 90's; I think he might be Mr. Right.
