Without God I am nothing, and I am so grateful that He is a patient and forgiving God.I'm an RN,labor and Delivery. I am currently a travel nurse. I have a husband, a son and a daughter, plus 5 stepdaughters and 7 grandkids!I consider myself very blessed in life. I count many friends among my blessings. Some of my friends I have known since I was a child, some only since I have been in California on my first travel assignment. All of them hold spots in my heart!I love to laugh and make people laugh and of course I LOVE PEOPLE WHO LAUGH AT MY JOKES!I have found that we never stop learning in life, if we keep our minds and hearts open to it. If we think we have it all figured out we usually end up surprised.I love to read, all types of books, except smarmy romance novels Yuck! (i.e. harlequin romance) I enjoy good movies. I am an absolute reality tv addict. I hate Jerry Springer type shows.I'm a pretty good cook and a really good baker. Luckily for me my husband is a really good cook and a pretty good baker.I hope that people consider me a good friend, as I want to always be.I want my kids to take all my strengths and learn from all my weaknesses.I still don't know what my 1 big purpose in life is but I do get a lot of joy and gratification from helping others. The best part of being a nurse is being able to see or know when you have had a positive impact on a pt and/or family member.I hope I learn spanish a lot better someday, although I have made a few co-workers laugh quite a bit with my attempts (U know who you are!)I claim God's favor over my life and family and that I may continue to grow and lead a life pleasing to Him.
