Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Jon started writing songs in his early teens. But he never really pursued his talent until he visited his current home, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. While there he saw how encouraging the locals were of new musicians and writers. He participated in and hosted "open mikes" for a few years to get his "chops".Over the last ten years he has recorded and produced a dozen or more albums by himself, and with other locals such as Roger Johnson in their two-man band "Coalition". He has also ventured into the movie production area, creating DVD's of local bands and events.
