About Me

I am a full time student at UNM. Currently I am working towards my degree in Spanish. Sometime in the future I want to be a translator/interpretor. I'm still not sure how that's all going to work out, but I have a little while to figure it out.
I consider myself a fairly easy going person. I try and go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens. My favorite nights are those where I stay home and watch a movie or listen to music with a friend or two. I tend to be really passive and quiet- sometimes to a fault.
I have an odd sense of humor. Most people would say it's a mix between sarcasm and stupidity, but I like it. I love to laugh, and sometimes I do, even if it is at nothing in particular.
I am a people pleaser. Most of the time I would do anything to make a friend or family member happy or comfortable. It's just my nature to want people to be happy. But I am slowly learning that I can't always make people happy and that making myself happy is important too.

My Interests

I like to hang out with my friends. I don't have very many close friends, but I love the ones I have. I like listening to music. I love to watch movies and I really like going to the mountains to hang out(just not when it's too cold).

I'd like to meet:

Generally speaking, I like most types of people. I would love to meet someone who is fun to be around, someone who can be happy just hang out and watch movies with. Like I said I like people, but mostly in small groups or one on one. I could always use more friends.

Music:

I LOVE MUSIC. I constantly have music playing, even if it is just in the background. I would not be able to go through a day without it. I would go crazy.

I honestly have to say that I listen to just about everything. Mostly 80's and 90's stuff. I do not listen to the newer rap or reggaton. I think that stuff sucks.

I have been listening to a lot of Megadeth recently, mostly because that is what my best friend has playing most of the time. The more I listen to it, the more I like Megadeth's music.

When I am in my car I listen to a lot of Old School and R&B. It's good driving music.

Movies:

My favorite movie of all time is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

(That's the first one that came out.)

I do like the new one(Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) too. But I like them for totally different reasons.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE "Dusk Til Dawn"
I like most movies...although I'm not very into "chick flicks"

I really like Edward Scissorhands.

I have finally found a movie that scared me... House of 1000 Corpses... Yeah, it was a good movie, but a really, really, really desturbing one...not a movie I want to see again any time soon.

I Love watching movies. I watch at least one everyother day. I bet I have seen more random movies than you have! Or at least movies you have never heard of.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE "The Devil's Rejects"

Television:

T.V. is good. I'm sure that I watch way too much, but I don't care.

Shows-- Hmm... I like "How It's Made", "Seinfeld", "Dirty Jobs", and a ton other. Haha, I don't know why I was trying to tell you what I like to watch.

If it's on and somewhat interesting, I'll watch for a while.

Books:

Nope sorry, I usually don't read books for fun. Books don't have moving pictures. :D Although I get into moods every once in a while where I'm like "get me a book I really want to read something". But don't worry, that hardly ever happens.

Heroes:

My grandma is my here. She is such an amazing woman who has remained strong through so many trials. I love her to death and I can only hope that I can be anything like her when I have a family of my own. She is powerful and yet silly at the same time.

One of my favorite memories of her is of when we were all over and she was folding some clothes she had just taken out of the dryer. I was sitting next to her and she leaned over to me and told me in my ear "Todos estan aburridos". She rolled up a pair of socks and chucked them at one of my cousins. She told him that another of my cousins had thrown it at him on purpose. Needless to say, she started a laundry fight.
