I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a profound thinker, a socially engaged extrovert, a certified technophile, and a decisive "make it happen" entrepreneur.
My goals are to enjoy life, to learn new things each day, to succeed in my business endeavors, and to motivate and encourage the people I encounter. I seek to make a difference in the lives of others by building meaningful relationships, sharing knowledge and experience, and by delivering value to others through creating opportunities when appropriate.
Life is 1% what happens to me and 99% how I react to it. All great triumphs are all born from responding to adversities and creating opportunities. I am a disciple of achievement; studying how people overcome improbable odds and hopeless situations to do impossible things and become what no one would ever expect them to be.
I am here to achieve, to strive, to learn what it means to create and to conquer - not the world, but simply myself. There is no fear - only me blazing forth, grasping the controls by the seat of my pants, with those who matter in tow, and the best plan I can muster in every given moment.
If I take my punches, vent my rage, recover, and find within me a surviror at peace, a mind that is still sharp, a heart that is still good, a soul that still loves, and the incessant drive to make the world around me a better place, then at some point I will earn this little gift called life.
My Epitaph: His destination is unknown, but his journey was truly remarkable.
I scored a 97% on the "How New Orleans are You?" Quiz! What about you?

Random Thought of the Day: When we give up on life, we leave a void in the world, an emptiness in all the places that would have been filled if we had simply persevered. I believe each person has a duty to be a voice roaring through existence rather than an empty echo of something that should have been.
Random Quote of the Day: “Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.” - Bruce Lee
Random Thought of the Day: Just because Louisiana operates under Napoleonic Code doesn't mean we have to approach every problem with the same level of thinking that left Napoleon's heavy artillery stuck in the mud and useless in the Battle of Waterloo, ultimately leading to his defeat.
Random Thought of the Day: If you can read this, then you are IN my existential network.
Random Thought of the Day: There are those who seek "guarantees" and those who seek "potential". In friendships, relationships, in love, and in business, I will take potential over a guarantee in any given situation. Greatness is not arrived at through guarantees. It is something achieved by realizing one's capacity to see beyond reassurance and by exercising the potential to navigate beyond the limits of complacency and comfort.
Random Quote of the Day: We are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

-Alfred Lord Tennyson
Random thought of the day: It is only an illusion that the world grows smaller as we wander through it. What really happens is that our minds and perspectives begin to fathom the utter amazement and diversity of our planet. Our perspective on life and respect for life becomes so much larger.
The world does not shrink before elightened spirits. They simply expand to occupy a greater portion of their true potential.
Random Quote of the Day: "Let us be guided then by a sense of justice. Let us build a system of just laws and demand adherence to those laws. Let us create a city of equal opportunity for all, with all sharing in both the responsibilities and benefits... Let us create a city where neither the choice of religion nor the accident of color is an obstacle to opportunity and advancement, nor a substitute for effort and ability."
