Just moved to the area from Chattanooga, TN about 4 months ago. Yes I come complete with a Southern wit and accent that I am kinda/sorta proud of. :) I have spend most of my life in the South - Born/raised in Chattanooga and I have also lived in Charlotte and Cincinnati before moving to Chicago. I figure if it's got a "C" in its name I'll wind up living there (but I will draw the line and now move to Cleveland. Sorry... :) I'm very down to earth, fairly laid-back and love sharing life and everything it brings – both good and bad – with family and friends. I have an awesome group of friends back in CHA and enjoyed the time we spend together. The friends I have will be my friends for life. We would go to the ends of the earth for each other! During the warm months I do enjoy taking rides on the motorcycle. If you've never rode with someone, you should at least once. It's a great way to unplug from the world for a while - Can't talk on a cell when motoring down the road (but I'm sure some have tried.) It's not as scary as you might think and getting some fresh air really clears the mind. I have a good job that has allowed me to grow professionally as well as personally. During the fall I enjoy getting out and enjoying the fall air and different events. I enjoy watching football (college over pro... in the south college football is a religion) and hockey, but it's more about hanging out and having a good time than being glued to the game. Unless it's really REALLY good! I have a great 18 year old daughter who has completed high school and has enlisted in the Navy. I am so very proud of her decision to serve our country. I enjoy a great conversation – It stimulates the mind and exposes you to new thoughts and ideas and helps you grow as a person.
