It was a cold, dark friday evening on the boardwalk in Pt. Pleasant Beach. As Jay pushed his way through a crowd of drunken patrons, he noticed Dane and Justin talking. Before he could utter a word, the words were spoken... "How do you feel about starting an 80's cover band? One show and one show only. We can make history." Brilliant! For the remainder of the night, they all discussed the means of making this happen through slurred words.
Eventually they met up with Asian Rob who they found out was a drummer and we were that much closer to being a complete band. After working on a few songs, the idea had gone through many changes and was no longer an 80's cover band at all and they had picked up Adria to be the lead singer. Now, every waking hour of the day... (or when we are free)... Hot Chance is hard at work to bring the most electrifying show to the jersey shore area.......
