I am here for Friends

About Me

"I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take,
all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see."

Me...
I have the utmost respect for the men and women who serve our country. I always vote! I am of Irish/Italian descent with a touch of Scottish. I have my fathers wavy hair and my mothers green eyes. I love my family and cherish my friends. I can spend hours in a bookstore. I wish on eyelashes and shooting stars. I have an eclectic taste in music. Dancing makes me feel alive. I am passionate about Boston sports and our environment. I think foreign languages are sexy. I am a hopeless romantic, in love with love. I don't believe in coincidences. I try not to judge people. I always drive barefoot. Uncertainty does not frighten me. I believe in myself. I admire my parents. I love the sun in my face and the wind in my hair. I am proud to be an American (despite the Bush administration!). Intelligence is my aphrodisiac. I am a loyal friend. I wish commom sense was more common. I admire people who set goals, and work to achieve them. I am confident. I want to travel the world. I believe in a woman's right to choose. I always make my bed. I collect stationary. I am never too proud to apologize. I love walks in the early morning when the rest of the world is sleeping. I want to make a positive impact on peoples lives. I am sensitive and organized, to a fault. I have an herb garden on my kitchen windowsill. I dislike conflict. I am open minded. I listen to Jazz when I cook. I love the smell of the air after it rains, freshly cut grass and night blooming Jasmine. I wish random acts of kindness weren't so random. I loathe prejudice and ignorance. I do not watch the news. I think the media is corrupt and exceedingly negative. I look forward to pregnancy and motherhood. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I am spiritual and embrace the positive beliefs in all religions. People who don't recycle frustrate me. My brother is my hero. I am never bored. I am adventurous and spontaneous. I am stubborn. I love wine. I try not to use the word hate. I wish I was more optomistic. I am not afraid of heights, I am afraid of falling. The smell honeysuckle reminds me of my youth. I love the sound of the ocean. Lilacs remind me of my mother. I am sentimental. I want to be remembered for my thoughtfulness.

My husband... my lover, my friend, my life.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do
than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover."
