A machine is comprised of many parts. While it takes four to move MEANDMYMACHINE, the main component is DJ MEA (MEAndmymachine) who has stepped out from behind her turntables to front one of the most promising acts that rock has seen in a very long time. MEANDMYMACHINE is a heavy rock band with crunching guitars reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails, synth lines that would make Depeche Mode proud, and noises and glitches that Björk and Aphex Twin would approve of... anchored by an impressive display of live drums and electronic samples, and all tangled up in dark melodies and empowering emotion.
All in all, MEANDMYMACHINE is a logical progression for DJ MEA who has toured the world along side artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten and the Stanton Warriors. "The Madonna of the New Millennium" that graced the cover of DMA magazine in July 2001 proves to be living up to and even surpassing any and all expectations.
MEANDMYMACHINE consists of four talented musicians hailing from Los Angeles, California. Mea on vocals, Ashes on guitar, Drew Worsley on bass, and Justin Sandler on drums. The band brings to the table talent with substantial touring experience, covering countries in 5 continents around the world. They have each individually come from successful previous projects in the rock, goth/industrial and electronic genres and have already made notable dents in both the mainstream and underground scenes around the world.
MEANDMYMACHINE is so much more than 4 larger than life individuals. Together they are a live act that is moving, passionate, violent and beautiful… an unstoppable machine.
