Cedric G

Cedric G. started a musical career as a drummer in the late eighties and used to perform hundreds of gigs, most of them in noisy rock bands. Some years later, he also began to work as a sound engineer and producer for several bands. In the late nineties he started a personnal project with female singer Joanne Lovera called "agent 5.1". The project was mainly inspired by jazz music and 60's soundtracks melted with electronic adds. They met Luc Van Acker (ministry, revolting cocks, ...) and signed in 2000 with BMG. They recorded a first album which came out in 2002 in France ,Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and Taiwan. They toured with a full band with artists like "kid loco", "mad professor", "supermen lovers" or "ghinzu" until the end of the year 2003 and then, they began the recording of a new album. In 2004, the second album, called "the wonderful world of kissing", was released. After a year of promotion, concerts and remix collaborations (superlux, pink satellite, marc moulin, ...), they decided to take a break with this project. Afterwards as Johanne was working on paintings and exhibitions and Cedric was taking part in various projects as a session drummer . He also entered the band "monsoon". In 2006, Cedric started preparing new tracks with an even more jazzy direction and Jean-Paul Estievenart, a young and talented jazz trumpetist who played on some tracks of the Agent 5.1 second album , collaborated with him . They have been working together at home and 14 tracks have already been recorded. Delphine Bouhy (from the Belgian band “adrian bouldt”) also joined the project as a guest singer on 2 or 3 tracks.
