I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

not much to tell. i live on my own in carbondale. i am studying journalisim and mountain biking. guess which one i spend most my time on. im pretty easy going most the time. i dont really have any noteworthy interests, i really just try to get by while arousing as little interest from the local authorities as possible. i really enjoy meeting new people and i get really bored at work, so feel free to message me and i will deffinatly write you back.

My Interests

not much there. i enjoy cycling in all of its glorious forms although i do generally prefer the cross country mountain variety. however my love of the sport does not stop when i get off the bike. i enjoy promoting responsible trail usage and improving relations between mountain bikers and the local authorities/other trail users by maintaining active membership in the shawnee mountain bike association. in addition to mountain biking i also enjoy colecting random kitchen appliances and shooting streetlights out through my window. i also like chilling out early in the mornings with a cup of coffee and a book.

I'd like to meet:

myself in 20 years. i can only hope i turn out the way i want to. i wouldnt really care if im dead in 20 years, but if i turn out to be a prick i would probably have to kick my own ass.

Music:

bluegrass, folk, and classic rock. anything made during this millenia can lick my.......i'll let you fill in the rest with the most inappropriate body part you care to enter into your minds eye.

Movies:

i worked at a movie theater for three years, so im pretty jaded about the whole movie thing. i watch alot of mountain biking movies. but occaisionally ill find something i really like.

Television:

dont watch it. it rots the mind.

Books:

rolling nowhere the aquariums of pyongyang a confederacy of dunces the naked ape undaunted courage

Heroes:

my parents, without a doubt. they are nearly flawless as near as i can tel. they arent millionaires, they claim no amazing strengths, and even with their combined brain power they were still stupid enough to have three children. any normal human being would have given up after me, but they decided to have one more. through it all they have maintained a sense of integrity that i rarely witness in individuals. they have my respect, not because they demand it, but because it would seem wrong not to give them it. in an age when everyone is willing to sell out just to make a buck, they have excelled in their individual arenas whilst maintaining their honor and dignity.

the grim reaper

The concept of death has entered my mind with disturbing regularity over the last several weeks. I should relieve various tensions, or perhaps inspire more of them, by pointing out that when I say I ...

bored at work

So, I am at work and incredibly bored. All too often my letters begin this way, however I have almost no regrets about that. I do wish I had a job that required a slightly more attentive mindset, howe...

Acorns are for the weak

The new year is upon me and i have already managed to get trashed and struggle back into sobriety within the span of 3 hours. A pretty good job, even for me. Not to say that I am exceptionally skilled...
