I'm most interested in meeting seeing Father God & Jesus face-to-face. He has delivered me from many things--drugs, alcohol, smoking, alternative lifestyles & sexual sin--and continues to set me free by revealing to me daily those parts of my heart that are either wounded & broken, or are still not completely surrendered to His Lordship...and, in all honesty, I expect this process to continue until the day I look Him in the eyes.
In addition, I'm here on MySpace for friends, old & new. Dating isn't an interest of mine. Someday I'd like to find a life-companion, but right now, my focus is on getting to know God & myself better.
I'd also like to meet other people who love Jesus, especially those who have "been saved from much" (isn't that all of us?) & are interested in a heart-relationship with God based on-- trust; obedience; surrender to His will; sharing His love, hope, peace, mercy and grace; and being transformed into "the image of Christ" by the "renewing of your mind in Christ Jesus"--rather than based on "religion for the sake of being religious".
I want to meet people who really enjoy getting together with other believers rather than people living like hamsters--going to church, sitting in a pew for an hour, pressing the bar get their spiritual "pellet", then running off to do whatever it is they do to occupy the other 167 hours of their week.
You know...people with whom my spirit "waah"s.
(note: for those unfamiliar with "waah"ing, Harold Eberle did a teaching about relationships. He said our spirits are like tuning forks--when you tap one, and then bring another one near it, the 2nd one will begin to vibrate on the same frequency together thus producing the "waah" sound. If I figure out how to do a video clip, I'll illustrate the visual). Anyway, he says that's what our spirits do when we spend time with people or study certain teachings or listen to different kinds of music, movies, etc....get it? pretty cool, huh?!)

The songs in my playlist (see above) speak to my soul...their words, their music, the way Holy Spirit inhabits the praise, the worship...Oh, how I love to fellowship with the presence of the Lord...to dance with Him, to love Him...to feel Him near me...
Please take a moment to be refreshed, spending time with your Father God who loves you more than you'll ever comprehend!!!
Here's another of my favorites...still cry every time I watch it:

hmmmm, this one is tough, since many of the movies I used to love just don't "do it for me" anymore, & I don't really watch movies that often, but when I'm in the mood for a film, let's see...I guess I'll start with (in no particular order):
*Narnia--the new one (can't WAIT to see "Prince Caspian")*
*Operation Petticoat*
*The Russians Are Coming!*
*Meet John Doe*
*The Shop Around The Corner*
*Arsenic & Old Lace*
*The Sound Of Music*
*My Fair Lady*
*South Pacific*
*West Side Story*
...just can't get away from those musicals...
*Blood Alley*
*Just about anything by Hitchcock or starring Carey Grant*
*Cars (the cartoon)*
*Finding Nemo (also a cartoon)*
*28 Days (just 'cuz I "been there, done that"--only mine was a little longer & I didn't graduate--oops!)*
*The Love Comes Softly Series (all 4 movies--w/one on the way!!)*
*The Sarah, Plain & Tall Series (all 3 movies)*
*Mr. Holland's Opus*
*The Matrix (I don't think the enemy meant for this movie to be released 'cuz it sure shows LOTS of truth about how we have a lot more power in this world than we think we do...we're "in" it not "of" it)*
**DOCUMENTARIES/NONFICTION/"BASED-ON-TRUE-LIFE**
*Amazing Grace*
*The March of the Penguins*
*The Privileged Planet*
*The Star of Bethlehem*
**SPECIAL CHRISTMAS MOVIE SECTION**
*It's A Wonderful Life*
*Charlie Brown Christmas Special*
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (sorry Jim Carrey Fans, but I dig the original one w/Boris Karloff)*
*The Santa Clause (only seen 1 & 2--may add 3 if I like it)*
I try not to watch TV too much, but the channels & shows that catch my interest are more likely to be the following:
HGTV, History Channel, The Learning Channel, Discovery, Style, A&E, TCM, and the cooking channel (see below)
**Home Improvement & Organization ShowsColor Splash with David Bromstad, Deserving Design with Vern Yip, Holmes on Homes, Designed to Sell, House Hunters, neat, Clean House (w/Ms Niecy Nash)
**Wedding & Proposal ShowsWhose Wedding Is It Anyway, A Wedding Story, I Propose, Perfect Proposal (when it's on), Bridezillas (but can only watch this one occasionally 'cuz sometimes they're wa-a-a-ay over the top!)
**NOTE** I really enjoy the whole wedding planning thing--not necessarily "pining away" for my own--that'll happen soon enough =P
**Cake Decorating ShowsAce of Cakes & competition shows where they make theme cakes (ie "Pixar" cakes, proposal cakes, Sweet 16 cakes, non-traditional wedding cakes, etc.). These things ROCK!! This isn't your grammy's cake--oh no! The competition cakes have to be a MINIMUM THREE FEET TALL & they have to MOVE them from the kitchen area to the display table without them falling over to even be considered in the judging...SWEET!!
**The Deadliest Catch
Totally fascinating--but don't watch it too often**Dog, The Bounty HunterThis is a man who is truly trying to learn to follow Christ (I know what you're thinking--but I'm praying that he will continue to be restored as he seeks forgiveness @the foot of the cross--especially now that his show is returning to TV--a real answer to prayer for me! What does the Bible say in Matthew 7:1-2 1"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. 2 For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." )
