About Me

I am very very outgoing, many would call me the life of the party. I can be out of control from time to time but I am tamable for the right situation. My female friends say I "Clean Up" well...whatever the hell that means... I am educated and really believe that everyone, if given the opportunity, should educate themselves to the highest level they can reach. Education is a life long process, nonetheless Education is the Key to your Future. Currently, I am an Adjunct Professor at MSU and try to impress the seriousness of education to all of my students. I try to see the best in everyone, no matter how unbecoming they may seem to be, and I have dedicated my life in helping those who wish to bring out his or her best. Music:

I enjoy all types of music, my taste varies from classical to rock from 80's to Punk and Rap to Hip Hop ....I really like each song based on the song not really a catagory or artist.

Movies:

This is a very broad venue....I have an open mind when it comes to movies. One thing I can say is that I am not really into the SCIFI stuff (i.e. Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, etc..) I enjoy more realistic movies so I can let myself feel a part of the movie. Sometimes I enjoy those movies that leave you wondering, therefore creating your own conclusions or those movies about conspriracy, crime, etc....Then sometimes I find myself laughing my butt off to movies like American Pie (all of them), Van Wilder, and White Castle. I guess you have to catch in the right mood for movies. One thing I can agree on is that movies are a great source of entertainment.

Television:

I am really into educational TV, therefore that means I watch Discovery Channel, History Channel, etc...I have, however, fell victim to the reality TV fad and I find myself watching those shows as well. I do watch drama shows too just not too many of them. I love the Sopranos, Law & Orders, Navy NCIS, and a few other ones. So I guess you can say I am well versed when it comes to TV entertainment. I am open for anything as long as it can stimulate my brain.

Books:

I have to be honest...I am not really a book person. Sounds kind of odd since I do have a post graduate degree but as I said before I have a lot of energy, therefore it is very difficult for me to sit in one place for too long. However, I did recently read a "Chicken Soup for the Soul Book". I know is sounds kind of corny but I really think we need to keep like real and sometimes we need assistance in achieving that. Don't get me wrong I read but only when it is truly necessary. I am more of an audio/ visual person with a lot of energy and spunk. I do, however, read the newspaper on a daily basis because I think it is imperative to be aware of what is going on both in the local and global commuinity.

Heroes:

A Hero is a person who put themselves before all, a person who puts aside biases, and does what he knows to be right regardless of what others may or may not think. Someone who is willing to give all and get none and under the most unfortunate circumstances make the ultimate sacrifice without the notion of receiving something in return. A hero comes at all levels, from all backgrounds, economic make-ups. A hero is willing to take the good fight on when others cannot or even worse will not. He will run into danger while everyone else runs away even at the expense of his own demise. Some people say that the members of the military are heroes because they are willing to do whatever is necessary wherever necessary, sometimes in the worst possible places, in the name of freedom. As I concur, they are true “Global Heroes” I truly believe that the families that are left behind during these times of deployment are truly heroes as well. However, as the parents, husbands, wives, and siblings sit back in the states worried about their loved ones we have to recognize the sacrifice they endure in the name of Freedom. Therefore, next time you see a soldier’s parent, wife, husband, or sibling be sure to say “Thank You” to them as well because they too are a true “Global Hero”.
