Courtesy of MsTags.comFor everyone that may not know me; let me give you a few stats to aquaint yourself. My name is Sunny D. I am 25 years old. Yes, I'm a black girl with a white girl's name. lol I graduated from Burns Senior High School located in Lawndale, North Carolina in 2001. Damn, I feel old. I am 115 lbs. at 5 feet 2 inches tall. I have black shoulder-length hair, dark brown eyes, dark complexion, and a dazzling smile. Not to mention, I have 8 tattoos, and 2 piercings. Yes, I'm still a bad girl.For all who do not know; February 1, 2008 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 gastric (stomach) cancer. I have had surgery to remove a portion of my stomach and also a portion of small intestines. It was a rough time for a while afterwards, but I have persevered through. For the last six months I had been going through various testings and chemotherapy in my fight against this violation. As of Thursday August 21, 2008, I have completed my chemotherapy treatments. At least for a while I'm hoping. Wish me luck. lolThis past June 2008, I finally completed my Certified Nurses Aide training and certification. The next step will be LPN or Licenced Practical Nurse school, and then Register Nursing. I love taking care of people. I believe it is my calling. I love what I do and do what I love.I have been married, and an Army wife for 6 years to Zygmunt. (That's SSG Wallace to some of you, and just Chris to most) We have had the pleasure of welcoming our first son, Giancarlo into the world at Heidelberg Army Hospital in Heidelberg, Germany on March 12, 2005. Well, let's just say my best friend, Christin and I have. My step-son, Christopher James Marquis has been with us since June 2006. He is currently a 2nd grader at Lewiston Elementary, and thriving everyday. Since, September 14, 2008 we are currently stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia.G's Ticker
