DOZER

Dozer is a producer and D.J. with an ear for the digital and a love for the warm tone of vinyl. Currently residing in the cultural melting pot of Louisiana, he is constantly in his home studio mixing, tweaking, and burning the midnight oil. He is known for his meticulously obsessive nature when perfecting each and every aspect of his music. He has acquired a plethora of relationships with musicians, vocalists, and emcees within his collaborative arsenal. Harnessing the collective musicianship and connections that are so often made with sound, he brings this energy into the realm of his musical concepts. He attempts to blend our chaotic nature with the finite order of the computer age. Dozer consistently tries to mimic life's many balancing acts with his music. He was a recent resident of the musically saturated city of Austin, TX. While in the Lone Star State he worked with many well known producers and emcees within the Texas hip hop scene. Local Austin hip hop veteran, StormShadow joins Dozer as one half of the hip hop duo, Sinister Shadow. The two tackle major issues, while blending a soulfully, comic-influenced undertone with vocal prowess and lyrical consciousness. The debut album will most likely be released near mid-2009. Also working on tracks for the album: Well known Austin hip hop producer Tee Double, vocalist Michael Cry, local emcees Grim Nasty, B. Goins, and Project Dead. Needless to say, Dozer is someone that any fan of hip hop and electronic music should keep on their radar.
