I thoroughly enjoy everything that is my life: I have this amazing, sexy, and compassionate man/boyfriend/soulmate named Nick, spectacular friends, a couple of "kids" (Osiris the epileptic lab who acts like a two-year old and Layla the rescue with terrible breath, but she is oh SO very sweet), a big fat orange cat, a few dozen house plants, a roof over all of our heads Oh! And a dirty car! So if I were any happier, there would be two of me.I don't like to drive, I recently discovered that I don't like eggs as much as I thought I did, and now that I am older than 25, I can't take shots like I used to! I suppose that's a really good thing, but it's hard to let go of those glory days sometimes!I work at Elements Day Spa and Wellness Center. I make people feel like they are in heaven for about an hour, unless they are getting hair removed. It's the best job I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of jobs!

Holy moly, I can't even begin to name everything, but right now Mason Jennings is the apple of my eye! Neko Case, too. Ryan Adams, Arcade Fire, Willie, Beck, basically all classic rock, (i.e. Janis, Jimmy, Doors, Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, The Band). Al Green, Bill Withers, Ray Lamontagne, Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, The Decemberists, Incubus, Tool, PEARL JAM, I'm not going to keep going, I'll be here all day

Movies:

Are mostly a dime a dozen, but there sure are some damn good exceptions!

Television:

I may or may not watch the following: Deadwood, Trailer Park Boys, any Law and Order, Talk Sex with Sue, Roseanne reruns, Antiques Roadshow, anything that has to do with forensics, or finding out who dunnit, or shows gross stuff that has to do with how someone died, I don't know why, but I have this terribly morbid fascination! I will also admit to watching Grey's Anatomy. That is all I am saying.

Books:

I like them. I currently have my nose in about four of them.

Heroes:

My mom. My ol' chihuaha, Gomez, who has this unbelievable will to live. And on a good day, my dad. Nick is my hero, too, because he always surprises me with all the gadgets he has and he can move 3 tons of sand in a half-hour
