Soup Kitchen Inc's "Splice1" is a Cali born B-Boy extraordinar to the fullest.
His journey started in Los Angeles Ca. spinning guest sets with his
older cousins D.J.Packman and Chemical Keith where he quickly locked in on the
true art of moving the crowd. Splice 1 spins a unique blend of
underground hip hop, break beats, funk, soul, rare groove, nu-soul
& reggae that will take your consciousness to a higher level.
In the 90's Splice 1 moved up north to San Francisco Ca. and quickly
became entrenched as one of the bay areas finest resident dj's.
Spinning at clubs such as; Odd Ball, Glasshouse, DNA Lounge,
1015 Folsom, Covered Wagon Saloon, Level Up, Townsend, Cream Of Beats, & 5ft. Tongue.
Splice 1 eventually moved back to So Cal where he went on to dj at
some of Southern Californias hottest night clubs & venues such as: House Of Blues (Los Angeles), L.A's
biggest hip hop club "Unity", Da Alley (Los Angeles Ca.), Atomic Garage (Hollywood Ca.), with his partner J-Logic, Carlos & Charlie (Hollywood Ca.), The Standard (Los Anngeles Ca.) , Kaos Cafe (Leimert Park), Tokyo (Hollywood Ca.), Cinespace, Characters (Pomona Ca) Coachella, The Glasshouse (Pomona Ca), Slide Bar (Fullerton Ca.), The Locust Lounge (Pomona Ca), Viper Room (Hollywood Ca.), Biacci's (Upland Ca.), Angelo's (Pomona Ca), The Hip Kitty Jazz Club (Claremont Ca.), The Knitting Factory (Los Angeles Ca.), Vault 350 (Long Beach Ca.), Hollywood Palladium,. Currently spinning at: Rockers On 1st. (Ed Hardy Cafe, Pomona Ca.) & The Radio Killers (Ed Hardy Cafe, Pomona Ca.)
When Splice 1's not behind the turntables, he spends his time building at
Soup Kitchen studios making beats and writing rhymes & Rehearsing with his Black Soups, Soup Kitchen Inc. brothers & sisters. Splice 1's beat production skills
are second to none. With his vast knowledge of different genres of music,
Splice 1 mixes them all together into a big musical gumbo and delivers
some of the most abstract, soulful, eclectic beats you can imagine.
Splice 1 has done gigs with such artist as; Wu-Tang Clan, Onyx, Tha Licks,

Splice 1 is utilizing the power of music to bring forth knowledge and
earthly vibrations combining unique styles, deep grooves, healing drums,
