Chosen Generation Ministries of Birmingham was founded on March 23, 2007 out of our love for singing praises unto our Lord. It is our desire to save souls and change lives through the singing of the good news of Jesus Christ and community involvement. We have been singing together for over 4 years at various church programs, in different high schools choirs, and community choirs.
On March 23, 2007 we believe that it was the Spirit of the Lord upon us that arrested our attention, and moved us to launch out into the deep and cast our nets on the right side of the ship of life letting the world know that there is a remnant of young people that love to lift up the name of Jesus! God has shown great favor and placed a great anointing on the members of Chosen Generation. The spiritual fervor, that Chosen Generation is blessed with, transfers throughout audiences as we minister in song to people of all ages.
OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO:A. Praise and lift up the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
B. To lead others to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
C. We constantly strive to have the mind, heart and attitude of Jesus Christ in all aspects of our personal lives and in the ministry operations of Chosen Generation.
D. It is the heartbeat of Chosen Generation to impact people for the glory of God by coming together and strengthening this generation to reach their potential in Christ. We promote the development of ones spiritual, educational, personal, musical and vocal skills.
E. We are committed to operating with spiritual and moral integrity in our personal lives, in ministry, relationships and finances.
We believe that there is joy in gospel music unparalleled to any other form. Music, especially gospel music, has the ability to reach an inner part of man that when nothing else can. We pray that the inspirational messages in our music will serve as bait for the Word of God to Hook into the lives of men, causing them to change their life to a new life in Jesus Christ.
We believe God can, and will, use the voices he has blessed us with to praise Him and share His Word. Many who have joined Chosen Generation have testified how our love for Christ and spiritual and moral support of one another represents a defining moment in their spiritual development. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, even through song, is an undeniable powerful, magnetic force upon all of us.
We further believe ministering through song allows us to push ourselves beyond barriers. Singing to us is a fun filled exciting experience. Singing allows us to share our enthusiasm for the gospel as we minister to hurting and troubled souls.
We pray that God's message of hope will touch your minds, bodies and souls and offer healing for the Word of God says .....
