About Me

I am here to meet with those who are the GREATEST FANS of Pink Floyd from all over the WORLD! I have been a fan ever since the first time I heard them, I belive it was "The Wall" in 1980 at the age of eleven. I felt it was necessary to make MY contribution to Pink Floyd because they have had such a MAJOR impact on me and the entire world! The more I listen to Pink Floyd the more my mind is opened. I have only just begun this page as of July 2007. I still have not fully completed the entire page. I plan to feature Pink Floyd as a whole, as well as all of the band members solo works. Peace & Love to you my friends!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"THE GREATEST PINK FLOYD FANS from all over the ENTIRE WORLD!"

Roger Keith Barrett "Syd" ~ (January 6, 1946 – July 7, 2006)

A Founding member of Pink Floyd. Syd was active as a rock musician for about ten years before going into seclusion, from which he never publicly emerged for 35 years, until his death in 2006.

George "Roger" Waters ~ (September 6, 1943 - Present)

A Founding member, he became the main songwriter after the departure of Syd Barrett. Bass and guitar player as well as one of their lead vocalists. He was also the mastermind behind many of the band's concept albums, especially The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, and The Final Cut, and their well known symbols including the Pink Floyd Pigs and the marching hammers.

David Jon Gilmour CBE ~ (March 6, 1946 - Present)

Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals and Songwriter for the band. Gilmour, in addition to his work with Pink Floyd, has also worked as a record producer for a variety of famous artists. He has been very active in many charity organizations over the course of his career. In 2003, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), for this work.

Richard William Wright ~ (July 28, 1943 - September 15, 2008)

A Founding member, he is a self-taught pianist and keyboardist. Wright’s richly textured keyboard layers have been a vital ingredient and a distinctive characteristic of Pink Floyd’s sound. In addition, Wright frequently sang background and occasionally lead vocals onstage and in the studio, most notably on the songs "Time" and "Echoes".

Nicholas Berkeley Mason ~ (January 27, 1944 - Present)

A Founding member and the drummer for Pink Floyd. He has been the only consistent member of the band since its formation. He teamed up with Roger Waters, Bob Klose and Richard Wright in 1964 to form Sigma 6. He also competes in auto racing.
