About Me

Hello, friends....we're the C pack: Calliope, Comus, Claiborne. We all were adopted from the LA/SPCA and are the joy of our family. We live with our Mama, Papa, and two human brothers (Logan and Reese) in the Old Algiers section of New Orleans.Comus' SPCA "mugshot", circa June 2006:
Look at that face! How could anyone throw him away??!! Comus is a 80 pound ( Golden retriever/Irish setter mix ) "lap dog", he loves to have his belly rubbed, very lovable and cuddly. He loves long walks, swimming just about anywhere, chasing cars as they pass the fence, barking at squirrels running across the power lines, and running after birds. Oh yeah, we LOVE playing tug-of-war with our family's dirty socks, some may find it repulsive, but the savory smell is just so irresitable!
Calliope a ( Collie/Pitbull/Lab mix? ) was adopted from the SPCA in March 2006 after being found under a house with her momma dog and 6 siblings... and is quite the spoiled princess...laying on the floor is not for her, she sleeps in the bed under the covers by her mama's feet. The ottoman in the living room is her favorite place to nap. Some of her favorites things are long walks and laying in the sun. She can be a bit bossy at times with Comus, especially if she thinks he's getting more lovin' than her. She can chew on a rawhide bone for hours. We both sit and shake on command.
This is our newest addition adopted from the LA/SPCA in July 2007.... Claiborne Beauregard or Clay for short. He was found as a stray in Eastern New Orleans. He's an energetic and lovable Lab mix pup about 5 months old and LOVES to give kisses. He looks a lot like his sister Calliope, except for those big, floppy ears!!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Comus doing what he loves best...swimming in the Lake. We don't call him "Comie McSwimmie" for nothing:

Thanks to our friend, Nestle, for sending this to us:
