Galvanax Remixes

And now for something not-quite-so-different.

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
Galvanax originally started as a collaboration between Scott of 8 Gauge Syringe and Ilker Yücel, formerly of Sigiltech. Upon Sigiltech's dissolution and 8 Gauge's good fortunes, Ilker took the project upon himself as a solo outfit to include various collaborators in different styles of industrial and electronica. As of 2007, only a few songs have been written, all existing in an unfinished demo form. Ilker hopes to have material in a finished form soon. New material is always being worked on, so if anybody wishes to collaborate on a song or project, do not hesitate to make contact. All ideas and feedback are welcome.
Concurrent to the founding of Galvanax, Ilker performed a remix of 8 Gauge Syringe's "Revenge," which was included on the band's self-released debut EP, First Hit Free. Since then, Ilker has sought to expand his abilities in remixing, and as of 2007, has completed a total of four remixes with several more currently in the works from a diverse array of bands and artists. With Galvanax, Ilker hopes to move away from the formulaic approach employed by so many remix artists of simply rearranging original songs into dance club hits, preferring instead to further explore elements of the songs into new and more interesting directions...
