Swn Festival is a yearly festival of wonderful music and culture that happens in venues in Cardiff city centre, Wales.

Organised by John Rostron and BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, they say- “Swn is a three day showcase of some of the best music from Wales and from around the world. The thrill of going from venue to venue to see different bands and DJs is unique, and Cardiff is the perfect city to host a festival of this kind. The new audiences that bands get and the impact on them and the local economy is a brilliant thing, with the emphasis being on quality and diversity throughout. We're excited to be entering our third year of the festval!"
Swn 2008 was brilliant, and it's happening again on October 22 - 24th (Thursday - Saturday) 2009. Again featuring bands and dj's from across the world, the hottest local acts, DJs, more film and exceptional art, you’ll get to hear everything from hip hop to indie, folk, dance and rock music and more. There'll be more events, more seminars and an even more exceptional weekend in Cardiff. Book your trains nice and early, invite friends down!

Eleni bydd mwy nag erioed o gerddoriaeth i glywed, lleoliadau newydd a hyd yn oed mwy o bobl yn y ddinas! Bydd tridie o seminarau yn cael eu cynnal eleni hefyd.
