I listen to a wide variety. But to be honest, my favorite genera of music would probably fall in the category of movie scores. James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer... etc. Its not odd to find the theme songs to Unbreakable, Gattaca, Superman, Days of Thunder, Rocky, Rudy, or Gladiator on my playlists....... Other than that one anomaly... I listen to pretty much anything that doesn't degrade women (mostly rap), glamorize violence (rap again), endorse commercial bullshit (this could be any brand of music) or is too sad to bare (some country).
