I've been playing in various bands in Germany and Cardiff over the last few years. I've formed my first band when I was 15, so that's 10 years of mayhem! Unfortunately the mayhem consisted mostly of looking for bandmembers who are reliable and also have a decent taste in music ( which is kind of a problem in Germany when you're sourrounded by Techno and Death Metal obsessed). My search for the 'ultimate Band' (whouldn't be a bad band name:) let me to Cardiff where I played in various bands, at Open Mic Sessions and busked, which at times, earned me quite a good living. One of my favourite moments was playing at Tom's Pub in Pontypridd (where Tom Jones once upon a time played his first Gig) to a crowd of metal fans (seems they're everywhere...). Me and my friend Maia recorded a few songs in my bedroom on my four track recorder when we lived as lodgers with a proffessional violinist who had the habbit of playing the violine three o' clock in the morning. Maia played Bass and did backing vox, I played guitar, sung and wrote the songs you can hear: Three Sides of the Coin (written while busking) Law and Order ( dedicated to the Welsh Rugby Team of 2005 that won the Grand Slam) Scared of being Scared (shit title, but good song), Summit Book Man (inspired by a cartoon). Maia now play bass with upcoming and rioting Punk band the Physisists and I'm busy doing my Master in Screenwriting at the London Film School. I miss playing in a band and hope to play in a band again one day(Dreams about playing Led Zep's Whole Lotta Love with a rocking band hunt me so I guess it's time to grab that electric guitar again!)
