Alien life forms.
People with strong opinions (not necessarily the same as mine - I love spirited discussion, feel free to bring up random topics even if your belief system is in complete opposition to me).
Anyone who understands why it is necessary to own a track on vinyl even if you already have it on cd already (or any other format). Analogue enthusiasts.
Anyone who also sometimes takes days to get one note just right and then completely changes it by the end of the track anyway.
People who can remember the early nineties similar to the way i do.... When every trip to the record store was a discovery mission.... New sounds.... New ways of putting them together.... Maybe i was just young and without true responsibility, however between 91 and 96 the music had a certain optimistic innocence. Every night was an adventure.... Owning certain tracks on vinyl was a big thing as there was none of this instant downloading off the internet.... Hardly anyone who wasn't involved in the rave scene understood what you were talking about when you told them about the weekend... Which gave it a slightly mysterious feel... How did you explain the feeling you got when you heard Origin Unknown - Valley of the Shadows for the first time..... To someone who has never been out.....? Or even heard of "rave music"....
Even now, there are very few people who understand exactly how i felt when i finally got my hands on Dread - Quantum Leap...
