About Me

At the age of 19, in the middle of an adolescent crisis, at the end of high school, Serge Batman gives up his beloved hip-hop to venture into the realm of electronic music. Lacking a guide or any reference, he loses himself in lower-end cheap-club style house music. A few months later, Warp kicks his ass for good and changes his vision of things. He then feels the urge to buy a laptop to do what they do in the records he likes and starts producing a few basic idm-oriented tracks. Today, a couple of years later, his tracks are influenced by the Germanic techno scene, always with a touch of electronica. As a DJ, his influences stand out rather obviously. Yet, with his eclectic tastes, he can easily jump from Kompakt to Cassie, seamlessly teleporting from a techno stage to your little sister's birthday party.
