Old Skool Moses: 1999-2007
Old bio:
Straight out of the thriving Dominican punk scene come Old Skool Moses blending infectious old school and new school punk rock melodies. With catchy sing-a-long songs like "Pig Center Punx" and "Ostrich Song," and the emotion filled confessions of "Agnes" and "Nine, Ten (Pedro)." Old Skool Moses bring a hard hitting and energetic live show. Forming in January of 1999, this young band has gone through many line up changes. It wasn't until 2002 that they would put together a solid line up and start to show what they were made of. They began playing any and every show they could, getting their name out and gaining support from the local scene. Finally in early 2003, the band began writing and rehearsing for the recording of their first EP. In March of 2003, they entered the studio with Nelson Garcia (Poket/La Viuda Negra Records) to record what would become "The Morena." The EP was released in July of 2003 on Chung-Ho Records! It features 7 tracks of loud, energetic punk rock and a couple surprises.
