Growing up on 175th Street in the Bronx, life as a youngster wasn’t sweet for Durell Mohammad . Influenced by the streets, Rell as he was known as became a product of his environment at a very young age. As New York City streets, transformed the Young Durell to Hell Rell, the rising star he is today. As a new year unfolds, and opportunities continue to increase, Rell accredits all of his success to his life experiencesHell Rell plans to take the world by storm. After serving a 2 year sentence, and with the streets eagerly anticipating his release, Rell returned home to a loyal fan base a solid audience. In less than six months upon his arrival, Rell was signed as a part of the Diplomat family. Since his release, Rell has appeared on several mixtapes, as well appeared on Diplomat albums such as Diplomatic Immunity and Diplomatic immunity 2, More Than Music, Vol.1 & 2, Juelz Santana’s What The Game’s Been Missing, and Jim Jones’ On My Way To Church, Harlem: Diary Of A Summer, and Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product Of My Environment).With Hell Rell’s successful introduction into the music industry, he will be making his solo debut this year with the release of For The Hell Of It on KOCH Records. With hot songs reflecting the albums title, guest appearances by his fellow Dip Set members, and production by both young, hot beatmakers and the industry’s finest producers, Rell’s album will be guaranteed heat. “On this album, I’m just having fun. That’s what life is all about,†comments Rell. “All of my songs are real, nothing is sugar coated. They are all full of substance.†When asked, what makes you stand out from the rest, he says, “rapping just comes naturally to me. I don’t write rhymes down on paper and I don’t practice. It just flows off the top of the dome.â€Hip hop artist Tru-L was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts he always had a passion for music. He began writing lyrics at 11 years old. He started making appearances on local mixtapes in 2002. Soon after that Tru-L put his very own debut project together in 2003 " Mattapan Is The Streets " Hosted By Twan Mega Beats sold 500 copies. He went right into performing and making lots of appearances on local dvd's. As the month's went by he continued doing collaborations until he released "New England Patriot" in 2004 which mad his street buzz bigger by selling 5,000 copies.Tru-L also began forming his own group in the year of 2004. The group "Fatal Family" contained four members including himself , three males and one female. They all began working together and eventually put out their group project "Bloody Roar Vol. 1" in 2005 which created a street buzz for the other members of the group as well. From that point Tru-L and his team Fatal Family began doing shows with a few major hip hop artist's from the industry. Some names were Mario , Nappy Roots , Lil Wayne , Juelz Santana & more members from The Diplomats , who discovered him at a performance in Maine where he also attended Job Corps. Tru-L kept a good relationship with The Diplomats and eventually he had his third solo project " Tha General " hosted by Diplomat recording artist Hell Rell. Tha General is still doing numbers until this day, and has really made an impact on the streets and influcened other local artist's.Tru-L continues on working on his craft. He's always finding new ways to create a bigger buzz until that special day comes of being signed with the right record deal. He is currently released a new project " Closed Mouth's Dont Get Fed " hosted by a Boston Dj J Saki the new mixtape is in stores now.Being the first artist outta Boston to ever be welcome into the diplomat family Tru-L is now shopping deals for his upcoming projects that he has in the works for example he will be giving the fans a movie titled Tru To The Game which is based on his life as a young uncoming Mattapan mc "Tha General" the other name he goes by has now been giving the name the hungriest out because he refuses to starve
