About Me

Well my name is Joey. I love to play Paintball and I am a active member of Pbnation. Viva La Nation!!I run my own site, purepaintball.tkThe real reason why I am here is to help out the people looking for Info about the T-board for the Piranha.
T-Board Information: 3-31-2005 Settings: Adjustable everything. Will support the stock break beam eyes "On the fly" eye disable Adjustable eye sensitivity lighter trigger switch semi, RT, burst, full auto Adjustable ROF Shot q'ing NPPL legal tournement lock Ramping chip will offer Adjustable ramping NXL/PSP tournement legal 4-1-05 The kit will include a new solenoid and we will offer a lighter version for those that can cut the stock solenoid wires and solder a connector on it. Atleast that's something we are considering. Price T-Board only will PROBABLY be $54.95 T-Baord with solenoid will PROBABLY be $69.95 4-1-05 It will work with the stock EVO eyes and you will be able to purchase either breakbeam or bouncebeam eyes to add them to an Eforce. 4-1-05 55 without eyes or solenoid (you can use the stock ones), $69.95 for TBoard and solenoid, $9.95 more with eyes. 4-1-05 Eyes are completely optional. You can get them now, later, or never. And installing the eye will depend on the type. Bouncebeam are easier, but breakbeam are better but more difficult to install. I'll have more info on how to install the eyes when I have the prototypes. 4-1-05 the new ones have the tourny lock for the NXL and PSP, 15 bps ramping. For NPPL tournys, you need to use the stock of the multimode chip. 4-1-05 It will have a connector on it. Right now, it will be remove just about everything, and then install the new board, battery connector, charge plug, and noid. And I'll have a nice little video showing the install so almost anyone can do it. Its the best way of doing it IMO. 4-1-05 Adjustable everything. And you wil use the buttons on the side to change the settings. 4-1-05 2ms to 256 ms of debounce. That's how long the boards waits for the trigger to stop bouncing. 4-8-05 Ok, so the new boards will have an ultralight 45g trigger switch. And it looks like we will have different upgrade chips for NPPL, NXL, PSP, etc. More to come when I confirm specs. 4-11-05 B]And we will need a couple testers (edited). I'll post when I'm looking.[/B] 4-14-05 Most T-Boards are semi-auto and totally uncapped. But we will offer a multimode chip with shot Q'ing and a ramping chip with tournment legal settings. 4-15-05 Correct. RT is response trigger. It fires when you pull and when you release. 4-15-05 Gotcha. Ours is pretty close. Its 3 pulls at 5 bps and then continue 5 bps. 15 bps max. That way its legal for PSP and NXL. 4-17-05 I'm affraid not. It looks like I'm not going to be able to sell it without the noid. The original noid doesn't function as well as the new one I'm having in the kit. Its stronger and more power efficient. So its gong to be a Kit only. And the other issue is with the new board, its very small with special components. With the Spyder T-Boards, I have plaenty of room, but I don't with these. So they are probably going to run $20.00 bucks more. Probably 89.95. I'll try to get it a little lower, but these kits have to have everything. Board, Noid, charge port, battery connector, and since there is like no room in the grip, I hav eot have a special connectin system for the IC, so you can change it. I'll update everyone when I have a price quote from my manufacturer. 4-21-05 It will be in kit form. Board, solenoid, charge port, battery connector, etc. Everything you need. 4-21-05 We were trying to do that, but after thinking about it, there is too much of a possibility of bad install that shorts out the board. If the wiring isn't correct, you could fry the control board. It just easier for me to offer the whole kit, ready to go. Most players don't know how to solder. 4-27-05 Yes, it will work in both frames. John from PMI “I've been asked this a couple times. Installing the T-Board will not in any way void your warranty. This is a 100% approved project and we're looking forward to it as much as you guys are.” ”However, taking your gun apart and destroying it because you don't know what you're doing can void your warranty. Attempting to install your own eyes will also void it. Please use one of the approved installers.” (John From PMI) There are no current plans for PMI to do the installation, especially if you are planning on drilling your gun for eyes 6-1-05 Just found this thread. So many to keep track of. Here's the latest. Programming done. Design done. Samples ??? For some reason it takes 4 weeks to get 2 samples made, but only 2 weeks to have a couplehundred made. Go figure. I'm pushing them to get them ASAP then I will test and approve them and get these babies on your markers. Probably 3-4 weeks. AS of today( that pbguy142 found out) Damon is waiting on the final samples of the T-board. They should be here next week.
