About Me

Having decided to tinker with my collectables, and wanting to exercise for my health (but not having enough time for both), I decided to combine the two.I have become vintage cyclist, Jack Skiptooth Sprocket. In 2007 I began riding my Rat Rod 1952 Schwinn Panther. It is a 60 pound unrestored original one speed. Don't be startled if I whiz passed you with my bell ringing, I don't mean any disrespect, I'm just trying to have a little fun, folks. On September 25, 2007 I completed a 50 mile bike ride on my Panther and have ridden it on the NYC 5 borough bike tour, 42 miles, in May 2008.For the summer of 2008 I acquired a 1970's Atala 10 speed. I was able to ride this bike on a few longer rides. Now I have purchased a new road bike. I am looking foward to completing a century ride some time in 2009.
