Hi , My name is Mike and I'm a DJ. I play the genre of House, Minimal and Drum and Bass ( mostly ). I started Spinning records at the age of 15+ due to 2 good friends of mine : Johnny Wasted and Tom Flow. I mainly play the drum and bass genre which I got in contact with because of my neese Lari who took me to some partys and warmed me up for the sound. Minimal and House I play because every 2 weeks (at least) I got to Johnny Wasted and Lari's place to hang out and spin some records, and with Johnny Wasted's collection of lp's I had motivation and practice material for grabs: so I got in contact with the downtown Deep - Tech - and Pumpy House and minimal. I bought my first two decks at the age of 15 ( Koolsounds ) and I'm learning fast due to the guidance of Johnny Wasted who I am very thankful for all of his help. So this is kind of how i got in touch with music and the pleasure of it all and why I became a DJ.Something about my name , perhaps : My Actual name is Mike Vandebriel and I was in search of a good name, and uhm, after a while I felt like I needed to do something with my real name so I took my first name's first letter and my last name's first letter wich is ( MV ) .
