I'm leaving this an open ended question because anything could strike my fancy. You just never know.
people with brains...who know how to use them.
yes please. I'm learning the joys itunes on my phone.
the canon: America's Sweethearts, Sabrina, So I Married An Ax Murderer, Pretty Woman, Down to You, Ten Things I Hate About You, Run Away Bride, Sweet Home Alabama, Bring It On, My Best Friend's Wedding, Two Weeks Notice, What Women Want....there are more....And then there are the more serious ones: Little Women, Legends of the Fall, A River Runs Through It, Garden State, North and South (mini-series made in the 80's about the civil war), Under the Tuscan Sun, Chocolat, Amalie, American Beauty, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind...still more....The Disney movies...Beauty and the Beast (by far, my favorite), Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Pocahontas is ok, Mulan....eh, Lion King is cute, Bambi...depressing!, I love the random and lame Disney Channel movies...and oldies like: The Parent Trap, Summer Magic, etc.Musicals...there should be more out there...any time people spontaneously dance and skip about while singing...i love!
hmm...Will & Grace, Friends, Scrubs, Queer Eye, Desperate Housewives, America's Funniest Home Videos (the roommates and i are suckers for cheep humor), MTV Hits...all day long, Oprah on occasion, Punk'd is always fun, I Love Lucy...i do!, The Cosby Show, The Dick VanDyke Show, Bewitched...the oldies and goodies, Lizzie McGuire (i can't help it!), Boy Meets World, Showbiz India (getting back to my roots...connecting with my people...bah), Cooking Shows in general, Martha Stewart...i still love! There's more i'm sure...but in the end, does any one really care what i watch on TV? nope...hah!
Harry Potter (for sure!). The Phantom of the Opera. Anne of Green Gables (is still valid to me). I'm working through Toni Morrison's stash of great books. Been chewing on Woman Warrior for some time now. Joseph Campbell (anything this man writes/says is awesome....The Power of Myth, The Transformation of Myth Over Time...so good!). Rain of Gold...still one of the most magical books i've ever read. I like reading art books...not the coffee table kind, the how to kind. I passionately love all of the Norton Anthologies that i own...in fact, i'm thinking of constructing some sort of gaudy shrine to house them...yeah, i'm going all out! I'm going to take pictures of them in simulated casual poses and then frame them in gold leafed frames that i bought at TJ Max. Then i'm going to use my carpentry skills and my whittling skills to construct a decorative and holy looking contraption rivaling the Taj Mahal. I'd say the dimensions will be approximately 6x6x8 feet with an opening in the front so that passer-bys can stop and bow down to those several blue, hardcover editions...and toss their offerings in. At first it won't be much...but after the Nortons start performing miracles, i think business will pick up a bit. I'll shave my head and start sporting an orange, cotton robe. and i'll have unlimited access to the secret, high security back door to the shrine so that i can retrieve said offerings. What will i do with the offerings? Well i can't be bothered with giving back to the community, so i'll just pocket the cash and live off of the dried fruits and berries that the Norton devotees leave.
Buddha...at the moment
