Happy Box started in the summer of 2007 as 50sense, and churned out such summertime jams as "Tampon Snake", "Tampon Tower (Period Shower)", and "See You Later, Kelli Davis." Eventually, Joey and Richard found an acoustic guitar and started writing songs that they hoped would make the world a happier place. With a name change that reflected their mission to bring joy (and makeshift percussion instruments) to the masses, they set out on their journey to DIY stardom. There's still a war in Iraq and Afghanistan (Iran and North Korea still pending), filling the tank costs more than a tattoo, healthcare still isn't free, and no one reads, but at least there's Happy Box.
