Hurricanes, American Idol, confronting and overcoming my fears (like finally completing high ropes), history, Stephen King, hiking though wood, swimming, natural beauty, Spanish language, looking up at stars, sunsets and sunrises (especially with colorful clouds), walking my Siberian Husky, keepin in touch with friends, jumpin on trampoline with my nephews, poetry, movies, being a tea junkie...
Because of my profound hearing loss, I was not raised listening to music. But I had a recent surge of interest in this subject, probably because I love watching American Idol and my parents always turn on the TV to the CMW channel every morning. So far, my favorite song is "Hell Yeah" by Montgomery Gentry.
Classics, musicals, comedies, horror, Kate Winslet... practically any movie except the bad movies with lousy acting and ridiculous plots. P.S. "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (2004) is NOT a stupid movie.

Really I can watch anything... news, weather channel, sitcoms, TV movies, even commercials. But three shows tops the list: Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and American Idol.
Gosh. I need to read more these days. I used to be hooked to Stephen King, but I guess that phase is over.
Still figuring that out. So far I can think of Marlee Matlin and Helen Keller, because they overcame their handicaps and became successful in life.
