I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Christine is one of the most rockin' bands goin' on today. They have created a huge buzz as one of the next big bands to break through in the underground. Fueled by passionate and tearing rythyms that scream honest and true emotion, they have come straight outta Nashville, TN and are ready to rock the world with their new record "Badasser." Badassser delivers the sound of hard lives being lived in the deep south, the pain, the confusion and all of the desires that burn inside make Badasser a record that no one can live without.Lead by front woman, Stephenie "Stevie" Bailey (guitar and lead vox), Christine are destroying stereotypes and creating new music that's straight from the heart. She rocks it hard as hell on guitar and when she sings, she reaches somewhere inside you and makes you feel what she is saying. Beautiful, passionate and talented beyond belief, her words and sounds flow and draw you in. There is nothing hidden here. Pounding out heavy as hell beats, Michael Page (drums), along with Devin Pena on (bass/vox) are a disturbing, yet intriguing and commanding duo. John Judkins on lead guitar and lap steel, brings forth the native "Nashville" sound that sets them apart from anyone else. Relentless touring, bringing the sound of Christine to the region from which they hail from, Christine is always a live favorite. They destroyed at the SuperNova Records Showcase at CMJ leaving critics floored by their firey and explosive performace!!! Raw and real, their style of rock often gets compared to the Melvins which is LOUD and HEAVY. Always balanced with a hard stare in the face punk rock attitude and ethics. These guys are for real and live it like they play it. This Punk-Metal band will kick your ass and leave you wanting more. They mean it. Their self-produced full length called "Possessed" was recorded in 2003. It demonstrated a blueprint of their ballistic sound. The follow up EP, "Darkside of the Gloryhole" was released in 2005 and continued the rockin' destruction and progression of this great Southern band.Recently signing to Steve Austin's new label Supernova Records in the fall of 2006 they expect to have a new full-length release entitled "Badasser" to hit the shelves in April 2007. Over the years Christine has had the pleasure sharing the stage with Orange Goblin, Scissorfight, Dixie Witch, Artimus Pyledriver, Atomic Bitchwax, Players Club, Joe Buck, Scott H. Biram, Jucifer, Be Your Own Pet, Weedeater, Red Giant, Asschapel, Honky, Bad Wizard, Bible of the Devil, Zoroaster, Pearls and Brass and Sourvein, just to name a few.
